Bespoke Hand painted tiles by Jane Fox at Fired 4 U
Jane delights in painting bespoke hand painted tiles which enables her to offer you a chance to commission a unique design on ceramic tiles. Jane creates the designs and then hand paints them on to the ceramic tile for kitchen and bathroom walls.
Once the tiles are hand painted, they are then individually glazed by hand, allowed to dry and then are fired in our kiln. Thus creating bespoke hand painted tiles.
Title size
we most often use ready made blank tiles, the blank ceramic tiles are 4inch, 6inch or 8inch square or 8x4inches.
Hand made tiles
At the moment Jane can make you 6inch square tiles by hand if you want the hand made look on the tiles also,bare in mind they are made by hand and therefore slightly vary in size and are not always perfectly square nor perfectly flat because they are not made by a machine!
Unique designs
Designs can be created from your sketch, ideas, photos or textiles to make it truly bespoke. We will match colours as best we can with our colour range, just bare in mind all ceramic paints and glazes can change slightly when Fired 4 U in the kiln which is part of the unique hand painted result.
How did it start?
Whilst I have run Fired 4 U my paint your own pottery studio for the last 8 years, I have been asked by customers and local tile companies to hand paint tiles to their bespoke design, rather than they doing it themselves when they can’t find exactly what they want.
