Are you a local ceramics artist, potter or looking to start out creating with clay and need a kiln to fire your clay creations?
I offer a kiln firing service and have strict conditions around this. My kilns create my livelihood in my studio so I’m particular what I fire in them and how and when. Other than that, I am happy to offer advice to you and discuss your requirements.
I fire my kilns up to 1100 celsius if the firing temperature of your clay requires higher than this, I am sorry we can’t do it for you. This is to protect the life of my kilns they are as you will know an expensive machine to purchase.
The kiln I use most frequently for this has shelf width 18.5inches and total height is 64 inches.
I do not fire clay containing paper or organic materials due to the amount of smoke it creates when firing.
I do not fire lustres on due to the chemicals emitted in the firing.
Availability for firing depends on how busy we are at the time. Note we do not have holding space so the drop off date and pick up dates to us need to be made in advance.
