Copper Enamelling

Enjoy a different art with Fired 4 U

Enamelling copper shapes to make your own Jewellery or pictures

We will explain how to do this and be at hand to help you.
You use enamelling powders designed to be fired onto the copper or metal at a low temperature so that it can be fired in our mini electric ovens.
You sprinkle a colour on and then the shape goes into the oven for 5 minutes.
The colour choices include very sparkly glitter colours and some which split to a colour with silver threads running through it.
Once cooled you add your next colour and then patterns in different ways.
It is very relaxing to do.

Items can be made into necklaces, earrings, key rings and bag charms.

Try your hand at the enamelled collages

\

You paint your background design onto the canvas with our acrylic paints.

\

While this dries you enamel your metal shapes to go onto your design.

\

The finished pieces can be glued flat onto the canvas or be put on sticky pads so they are raised up.

\

You can of course do a few more pieces each visit and add them to your canvas at home.

\

Your canvas which is 6 inch square in size is ready to take home when you go.

Inara & I had a wonderful time capturing forever her hand and foot prints on mugs which we gave as birthday gifts to all her grandparents which they just loved. It was lovely to be able to create something so special together which will be treasured forever. Thanks so much for such a special experience – we will certainly be back soon. Sarah & Inara x
