This Christmas Eve plate is 25cm in diameter and made of fired earthen ware clay.
Details:
I paint these by hand with under glaze paints directly on to the bare pottery. Once they are dry, I glaze them (which is a layer of glass) and dry them again for 24 hours and then fire them in Kelvin or Katy the Kilns. They look after them for 24 hours too and then they come out all shiny and bright to be posted off to you.
I can create one for you as close as possible to the photograph on here and it can say To Santa & Rudolph or To Father Christmas & Rudolph just let me know which or an alternative when we create this for you.
Then we will paint your child’s hand print and press it onto the plate to create the Father Christmas image and paint the foot and press it on the plate to create Rudolph.
Other designs are available with Feet being snowmen or penguins or hands being Christmas trees or Rudolph or others you may have come across.
Then I need to know the names of the child / children / family leaving the plate out on Christmas Eve.
These are charged at £35 each.

This can take 6-8 days to create depending on how busy we are and then allow time for you to collect from our studio in Walton le Dale, Preston.
