The pottery painting at home kits are suitable for all ages, it's a great family activity.
We realise that not everyone can get to us when they wish to for many reasons and especially during covid19 restrictions in Lancashire and national lockdown. Often we have found this year we are stuck at home with limited entertainment. So we have come up with the option for you to paint pottery at home using our paint at home pottery kits.
To make it easy we include a leaflet explaining how to use the paints and ideas of how to create patterns, a colour chart for mixing other colours (or you can order extra pots of colour) and a health and safety sheet for the paints.
As of 4th January National Lockdown;
the kits are available on Click and Collect through our website or over the phone and then collect from our studio.
If you would like one posting to a friend or family member or to yourself please contact us to arrange postage.

Our different paint sets explained;
Pottery paint set
If you are painting table ware items you must paint them with pottery paints and return them to be glazed and fired 4 U. This is so they are sealed to be food safe just the same as your plates are at home. However the glazing process makes your pieces all shiny with the layer of glass on them so for ornamental pieces this makes them really pretty and finishes them off nicely.
These paint sets have 5 colours in them; Red, yellow, blue, white and black then you can mix your own shades or you can specify 5 colours of your choice.
This set is £12 and includes your 5 colours and 1 small brush and the glazing and firing fee for your pottery. The set will do up to 4 small pieces, 2 medium pieces or 1 large piece depending on how you choose to paint the pottery.
You can have additional colours for £2 a pot.
Acrylic paint set
This is great for just ornaments if you don’t want to make another trip to us, the stripe of 8 small pots with different colours has the full rainbow range in it. These colours dry with a mat finish therefore are not shiny at all and do not need to go into the kiln. You can always add a varnish of your choice or give a coat of pva glue over it to add a sheen.
These sets are £2.50 each including a small brush.
What Our Customers Say
Inara & I had a wonderful time capturing forever her hand and foot prints on mugs which we gave as birthday gifts to all her grandparents which they just loved. It was lovely to be able to create something so special together which will be treasured forever. Thanks so much for such a special experience – we will certainly be back soon. Sarah & Inara x
